MEARY Industrial Integrator

As part of a collaborative strategy between AP-HP teams, the MEARY Center for Cell and Gene Therapy is positioned as an essential link in the French biomanufacturing ecosystem with operational resources capable of supporting the development of current and future breakthrough innovations.

The raison d'être of the MEARY Center and its partners is to catalyze the development of innovations in cell and gene therapy. This raison d'être is obviously implemented with regard to the specific issues and challenges in the field of biotherapies, in particular the needs for cost reductions and increased production capacities.

Based on a positive assessment since its labeling in the framework of the "Improve yields and control production costs" in August 2020 and its roadmap for the next five years, the MEARY Center has obtained its renewal as an industrial integrator.

- to provide project leaders in the development of biomanufacturing technologies with the skills and tools required for the successful completion of their projects, and thus to promote technology transfer to third-party producers of pharmaceutical grade,

- to provide access to standard biomanufacturing equipment and to an environment conducive to research into the transformation of biomanufacturing equipment and processes, development of prototypes, etc.

- to be the meeting place between industrialists seeking new production technologies and the innovative companies and academic laboratories that support this technological offer,

- to offer an environment conducive to the development of startups that will be born from the research work developed in these integrators.
